A Home Designed for Independence: Building Benji’s Laneway Suite to Support Autonomy, Inclusion, and a Meaningful Adult Life
Benji is growing into a young adult. Creating a space of his own is an important step toward supporting his independence and autonomy. Building a laneway suite for him is about more than giving him a place to live. It is about giving him a space where he can make choices, gain confidence, and thrive on his own. The suite will be designed with accessibility and comfort in mind, making sure he can move around safely while also having the freedom to express himself and live as independently as possible.
This project is a commitment to Benji’s long-term growth. It will be a place where he can develop life skills, build routines, and feel a true sense of ownership over his environment.
