Every person deserves the opportunity to build a life that reflects their interests, strengths, and dreams. For Benji and Giulietta, our vision has always been guided by three core values: choice, inclusion, and belonging.
Choice means having opportunities to make decisions, explore interests, and shape the direction of their own lives.
Inclusion means being active participants in community life, not simply present but genuinely involved.
Belonging means developing relationships, contributing in meaningful ways, and being valued for who they are.
Creating opportunities for choice, inclusion, and belonging has involved much more than accessing services. It has required building flexible supports that evolve as needs change and focusing on what matters most to Benji and Giulietta as individuals.
Although this framework was built around Benji and Giulietta's needs, the vision has always been simple: helping them build lives that reflect who they are, not what a program expects them to be.
Flexibility has always been important. As their interests, goals, and needs have changed over time, supports have changed with them. Rather than fitting into existing programs, opportunities are built around their lives and what matters most to them.
Just as important are the relationships that have developed over time with support workers, family members, and others involved in their daily lives. These long-term relationships create trust and consistency, providing the foundation for growth.
At the heart of it all is a simple belief: Benji and Giulietta are individuals first. Success is not measured by programs or services, but by friendships, personal growth and the opportunity to live meaningful lives connected to the people and places around them.
Our vision remains unchanged: to create opportunities for Benji and Giulietta to make choices, participate fully in their communities, build meaningful relationships, and experience a genuine sense of belonging throughout their lives.
