My Journey as an Educator: Charm

I am a former public school teacher from the Philippines with a deep passion for supporting children’s learning, growth, and overall development. My passion for working with children continued when I moved to Canada. I pursued an Early Childhood Education diploma to build on my experience and gain a deeper understanding of child development and family support.
I started working with Benji and Giulietta in July 2024 as a part-time support worker and later transitioned into a full-time role. I was immediately drawn to the team’s strong commitment to providing individualized, compassionate, and inclusive care for children and their families. This role has given me the opportunity to bring together my teaching background and my personal dedication to making a meaningful difference in children’s daily lives, supporting them not only in building skills, but also in gaining confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.
Being part of this team has been a truly meaningful journey for me. I deeply value the relationships I have built with Benji and Giulietta, as well as with Galit, Sisi, and my colleagues, whose support and shared commitment have made this experience both rewarding and inspiring. Every day reminds me why I chose this path: to be part of a team that recognizes each child’s potential and works together to help them thrive in their own unique way.
